2025 Sweetwater Lions Club Cruise & Car Show
March 7th - 8th, 2025
Welcome to our page and our 7th Annual Car Show. We just finished with our 6th one and it was a HUGE success and already have folks ready to come back so I am working on getting the site ready. We are so excited for the 2025 Show and working on a few behind the scene details to make it even bigger. In 2023 we had 291 vehicles on premises with 310 registered and in 2024, we had 227 on premise and 297 registered...so it's safe to say we are one of the biggest in the Big Country. We can't wait to have you guys back and some new friends as well for the 2025 season. If you have any questions, please holler at me as always. We appreciate each and every one of you!

We are staying true to our date and keeping our Cruise & Car Show the 2nd weekend of March. Unfortuantely this means, we will NOT be in correspondence with the World's Largest Rattlesnake Roundup this year....but I still anticipate a wonderful show and maybe even larger with having more hotel opportunity for the weekend. We will have soft security driving around at hotels.
The cruise will be the prelude to The Show, Saturday, March 8th at the Nolan County Courthouse and Downtown Area!

Mulberry Manor is located in the Historic Trammell House in Sweetwater Texas (Texas Historical Marker 5551). The home was built by rancher and banker Thomas Trammell (1848-1919) between 1911 and 1913. Trammell is known as the "Father of Sweetwater" for his involvement in bringing the railroads to town. Trammell hired noted architect John Young (the father of actress Loretta Young) to design the home. He knew of Young for his design work with the Santa Fe Railway. The home reflects the Mission Revival-Prairie School style of architecture and features a unique atrium.
Shortly after Trammell's death the home was leased to the city and served as the only hospital in the area from 1923 to 1936. Later Trammell's daughter and her family occupied the home. In the years to follow it served as a private residence and apartments. In October 2018 Mark and Kim Reaves purchased the property and set about restoring it in their own unique style. The Manor is elegant, light and airy with the centerpiece being the atrium full of tropical plants and the reclaimed original flooring from 1913. Come Experience a Taste of Texas History!
